What's on Offer

At Lockington Consolidated School we pride ourselves on offering a diverse curriculum which include a variety of learning experiences that caters for all learners.

English and Mathematics are priority learning area and focussed on daily. In addition to these key curriculum areas, we have timetabled Humanities and Science based subjects, the Arts, Health and Physical Education, Languages (Indonesian) and Technologies sessions weekly.

Our teachers ensure that our students are given opportunities to develop the skills, knowledge and dispositions for the four Capabilities of Critical & Creative Thinking, Ethical Capability, Intercultural Capability and Personal & Social Capability.

Our learning approaches are varied to ensure that our students experience explicit teaching that allows for teacher directed, hands-on and inquiry-based learning.

 In addition to our core curriculum areas, we offer an exciting Camps and Excursions Program, special  event and themed days, guest speakers and presenters and whole school events.

Student Wellbeing is also an important aspect of what we do at Lockington Consolidated. With programs such as the Resilience Project, Respectful Relationships Program and class check-ins, we aim to provide our students with the skills and confidence to be resilient and respectful students who feel safe in the knowledge that they have a school that cares about them.

Our student leaders run a weekly assembly which provides an opportunity to showcase our school programs, celebrate student achievements and come together as a school community.
