Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to Lockington Consolidated School. We are a primary school of just over 140 students within the Lockington township in the Campaspe Shire on the lands of the Yorta Yorta and Dja Dja Wurrung People. Our students are welcomed from not only the township of Lockington but also the surrounding areas of Bamawm, Kotta, Tennyson, Echuca and Rochester.

Learning and Wellbeing are prioritised to ensure that each of our students reach their full potential in a supportive environment. Our dedicated staff strive to ensure that each student’s learning, emotional and social needs are met. Our students are provided with explicit instruction in all eight key learning areas with our teaching approach based upon evidence-based practice, hands-on learning and differentiated instruction to cater for diverse student needs. Our staff build and maintain strong student-teacher relationships in a safe and inclusive environment.

Community is important to us at Lockington Consolidated School, and we deeply value the involvement of parents and local community members. Together with our dedicated staff, families, and community partners, we work hard to create a rich and supportive learning experience for our students.
