Mathematics

Our students receive daily instruction and practice in Mathematics.

This includes the strands of Number, Algebra, Measurement, Space, Statistics and Probability.

The proficiencies of Understanding, Fluency, Problem Solving and Reasoning are fundamental to learning Mathematics and working mathematically and are integrated throughout all strands.

Lessons include opportunities for the use of  hands-on resources and written strategies to solve problems and show their mathematical thinking.
