How to be Involved

We warmly welcome volunteers to be part of our school community.

Whether you're helping out with food service in the canteen, supporting camps and excursions, or lending a hand on sports days, your time and energy make a real difference.

There are many ways to get involved, including:

  • Helping with food service and preparation in the canteen

  • Supervising and supporting students on excursions and school camps

  • Assisting at sporting events, carnivals, and special activity days

  • Covering and preparing books for the library or classrooms

  • Supporting classroom activities or reading programs (where needed)

Volunteering is a great way to connect with other families, support student learning, and be part of the vibrant life of our school.

As part of the Department of Education and Training’s commitment to safeguarding students and ensuring a safe environment, all volunteers are required to complete a mandatory induction before beginning any activities on-site.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Working With Children Check (WWCC): All volunteers must hold a current WWCC. This is free for volunteers and can be obtained online at Working with Children

  • Onsite School Induction: Volunteers are required to attend a brief induction session covering our key policies, procedures, and expectations

  • Online Induction via Xuno: Complete documents online

  • Sign-In Procedure: All volunteers must sign in and out at the school office

Child Safety Code & Policies:

All volunteers must read and familiarise themselves with the following important documents:

These documents form part of our commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for every child in our care.
