Lisa Duffy - Principal
Hi, my name is Lisa Duffy. I joined Lockington CS at the beginning of this year and have really enjoyed becoming part of such a supportive and friendly school community. It’s been a pleasure working with the wonderful students, staff, and families here.
Over the years, I’ve worked in and led a number of schools in the region, including Raywood, Welton (Torrumbarry), and Murchison, as well as Arthurs Creek Primary School in North-East Melbourne. I have a real appreciation for country schools – they offer something unique that you don’t always find in larger, urban settings.
I live in Echuca and enjoy spending my spare time cooking, gardening, and relaxing with my beagle-cavalier cross, Ted. I also have two adult children and a gorgeous grandson, Banjo, who always brings a smile to my face.

Emily Gusman- Leading Teacher
Since becoming a teacher, I’ve been lucky enough to gain teaching experience within metro Melbourne, rural NSW and regional Victoria in a range of classroom settings from Prep to 6. Despite being happy to teach any level within the school, my true passion lies within the junior years, setting the foundations for learning which can be very rewarding.
One of my favourite aspects about my role as Leading Teacher here at LCS, is that I get to spend time within all of our classes. We truly have the most welcoming, kind hearted students, making it a highlight to hear about their learning and see them in action.
Boggle is one of my favourite go to games, both in and out of the classroom. Otherwise, I often enjoy my down time reading, soaking up the outdoors (only if the suns out) or with family.

Taylah Smith - Classroom Teacher
Hi, I'm Miss Smith! I joined the LCS team in 2023 and love being part of the local community.
The best part of teaching for me is getting to know my students and creating a classroom where they feel safe, supported, and valued. I was fortunate to have teachers who inspired and encouraged me when I was younger, and I hope to do the same for the students I teach. I feel very grateful to share in their learning journey and to see them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
